Nearly all of us deal with the struggle of comparison and finding ourselves lacking. But there is a way to break free from internal and external messages communicating a lack of self-worth.
It starts with identifying the basis of your urge to compare and ends with securing your identity to the unchanging confidence of God's love for you.
Nona Jones knows this journey all too well. Throughout her life and in her career--most recently as an executive for the world's largest social media company--Nona discovered that despite professional success, true confidence can only be achieved by defeating toxic comparison and securing our identity to God's approval alone.
"Dealing with comparison is easy as long as you don’t own a phone, use the internet, or ever leave the house. If you, like me, do any of those things, though, you’re going to need Nona’s new book."
Jon Acuff, New York Times bestselling author of Soundtracks: The Surprising Solution to Overthinking

Personal note from Nona Jones
You can have everything you ever dreamed of and still feel like a failure.
I don’t say this to be cliche; I say it because I’ve lived it. I’ve checked the boxes of conventional standards of success; corporate jobs with global scope, nice cars, nice houses, advanced degrees, good marriage, wonderful children, and exotic vacations. But all of it felt hollow because, when I looked over the proverbial fence that is Instagram, someone else had a better job, a nicer car, bigger house, a more advanced degree, a perfect marriage with daily date nights, perfect children who made perfect grades and a private plane to take them to my bucket list destinations where they own vacation homes.
The more I learned about other people’s lives, the less vibrant my own life seemed by comparison. And maybe you know this feeling, too. The feeling that you are somehow a failure because of someone else’s success. The feeling that you somehow don’t measure up because someone else is so much farther ahead. But there is a solution that can heal you from the toxic power of comparison and I discovered it through my own journey to freedom.
Killing Comparison is the roadmap you need to live confident in who God made you to be. Without comparison.
